The Arizona Cardinals are coming off one of their worst seasons in recent memory, as the team tried to stay afloat without star quarterback Kyler Murray under center for the majority of the season.
Once Murray returned to the field for the Cardinals, Arizona started to show signs of life, but the damage was done as it was already a lost season for the team, with all the team’s energy put into the future.
Fortunately for Arizona, the team is loaded with cap space heading into the NFL offseason while also have a considerable amount of draft picks ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft on April 25.
With all the cap space and draft picks at the team’s disposal, the Cardinals could make some substantial moves during the offseason in order to turn this team back into a perennial playoff squad.
According to Pittsburgh Steelers analyst Andrew Fillipponi of 93.7 The Fan, the Cardinals could be a team to watch out for in terms of trading for Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson while also being able to bring in Ohio State star wideout Marvin Harrison Jr. in the upcoming draft.
Source says team to watch in the Diontae Johnson trade conversation: Arizona Cardinals.
Cardinals have 11 draft picks. 6 in 1st 3 round. 3 3rd round picks.
$56 million in cap space.
Hollywood Brown is a FA. Could trade 3rd for Johnson. Extend him. And draft Marvin Harrison Jr.

The addition of these two talented wide receivers could make the Cardinals offense a force to be reckoned with once again, as it would give Murray some solid weapons downfield.
However, it remains to be seen what the team’s intentions are moving forward and whether making some big moves like this would be something the team would pursue, as these moves could be potential game-changers.
