The Kansas City Chiefs haven’t been able to be at their best this season.

Even so, and despite their lack of talent in the receiving corps, they’re still 7-3.

Of course, not scoring points in the second half of three consecutive games is a major concern and a worrisome trend, but they might not be as vulnerable as some fans and analysts think right now.

At least, that’s how NFL analysts James Palmer and Steve Wyche seem to think.

Can the Chiefs get got come playoff time? Have their flaws gone on for too long? @JamesPalmerTV and I chop it up on THE NFL REPORT! To watch this entire episode on YouTube https://t.co/VgfOsgcFHT; listen to the podcast: https://t.co/QFtFGIgMOd pic.twitter.com/CtPffRdNu3

When talking about the Chiefs’ issues, they stated that all they need to do to get back to their best is to be aware of the drops and have more discipline on defense.

Drops have hurt Patrick Mahomes’ offense more often than not, and they’ve also struggled to avoid unnecessary penalties.

While drops are something they might not be able to solve with this subpar supporting cast, penalties are all about coaching, and they can clean things up.

On top of that, we’re talking about an AFC that won’t feature the likes of Aaron Rodgers, Deshaun Watson, or Joe Burrow this season, not to mention that Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills have struggled against winning teams, just like Tua Tagovalioa and the Miami Dolphins.

The Chiefs have a stellar defense, a future Hall of Famer at coach calling the plays on offense, and the best quarterback in the league.

That’s why, regardless of how much they seem to be struggling at times, people should never count them out, regardless of the opponent.
