The Boston Celtics are coming off three consecutive blowout wins over the Miami Heat.

Even without Kristaps Porzingis, they were able to dominate on both ends of the floor, and they seem to be the deepest team in the Association.

Nonetheless, former Heat great Udonis Haslem still thinks there are two teams in the Western Conference that could be a big threat to their championship aspirations.

Talking on ESPN’s First Take, Haslem talked about the Denver Nuggets and Dallas Mavericks as their biggest threats.

The Nuggets are obviously still the team to beat in the league.

They’re the reigning NBA champions, and they have pretty much the same core as their championship team.

As for the Mavericks, they were one of the best teams in the game since the All-Star break, and the trades they made mid-season boosted their defense.

Haslem likes the way they can switch things up and throw the Celtics different looks on defense.

On paper, the Celtics should be heavily favored to come out of the Eastern Conference.

They finished with the best record in the league for a reason, and they have absolutely everything they need to get to the NBA Finals.

Then again, we’ve also seen them fall short of their goal way too many times already, and it’s not easy to get past those woes.

This could be a defining postseason for Brad Stevens’ project, and there could be some major changes if they don’t get the job done.
