There is a lot on the line for many teams and players during this upcoming postseason.

All 14 teams in the playoffs proved over the past 18 weeks they deserved to fight for a Lombardi Trophy in February, but that doesn’t mean there is the same amount of pressure to win one for every player on every franchise.

ESPN’s Chris “Mad Dog” Russo broke down the top five players with the most to play for this winter: Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, Cowboys edge rusher Micah Parsons, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Most of these make sense: Jackson, Prescott, Parsons, and Allen have all had bad postseason luck, with Allen the only of the four who’s made a conference title game.

The inclusion of Kelce is a bit odd, though, considering he’s already won two rings with Patrick Mahomes and has cemented himself as – statistically – the best tight end in NFL postseason history.

But Kelce has been the only good part of the Chiefs’ pass-catching group this year, so there is a lot at stake for him to drive Kansas City back into Super Bowl contention to defend their title.

Jackson, Prescott, and Allen have more pressure because of how much their abilities have been touted recently relative to their combined zero championships.

Jackson and the Ravens are safe for a week after getting a first-round playoff bye, but the rest will have to fight it out in the wildcard round before moving on.
