The New York Jets have been one of the worst teams in the NFL for over a decade.
While there has been some hope at times, this team has yet to make the playoffs for more than ten seasons.
This has caused them to falter in the eyes of their competitors and not give their fanbase much to cheer about.
However, the tide might be turning for this team.
Aaron Rodgers is slated to be fully healthy when the 2024 season kicks off, which should help their offense take the step forward they desperately needed.
The team has made several moves throughout the season to help build Rodgers up, including the defensive side of the ball.
One of the team’s moves was to acquire Haason Reddick, a move that was looked upon favorably by many fans, including Craig Carton.
“This is a genius play by Joe Douglas,” Carton said.

Carton believes that Reddick will be a helpful piece to an already strong defensive front that was one of the best in the league last season.
The Jets didn’t necessarily “need” Reddick, at least on paper, but having a player of his caliber on your line can’t be a bad thing.
Even if Reddick was only used as a depth piece, this signing is seen as one of the best for the Jets this offseason.
They have a tough road ahead of them if they want to make any headway in the AFC East, but their recent additions might be enough to help them get over the hump/
