For years, fans have debated whether it’s harder to win a Stanley Cup, the NBA Finals, a World Series, or a Super Bowl.

Whatever the case may be, some franchises have historically made it look quite easy, while others, well, not so much.

Some teams seem cursed or jinxed or simply unable to get over the hump, failing to win a title despite their huge and loyal fanbases hyping them up year after year.

With that in mind, Alan Hahn of ESPN put together his list of the five teams that desperately need to win a title right now.

At No. 5, he chose the Toronto Maple Leafs, citing that the last time they won a Stanley Cup, the league only had six teams, adding that their fans continue to get their hopes up every single season.

At No. 4, he talked about the New York Mets, adding that not even Steve Cohen’s blank checks and aggressive pursuit of talent have been enough to put them out of their misery.

Unsurprisingly, the Dallas Cowboys got the nod at No. 3, as it’s been 27 years since they last won a Super Bowl, and their fans are always bragging in the offseason before their season ends in a heartbreaking fashion.

No. 2 was obviously reserved for the New York Knicks, who have gone five decades without winning a ring, yet the fans wreak havoc every single time they win a playoff game.

And last but not least, he talked about the New York Jets and how the last time they won the Super Bowl, it wasn’t even called that yet.
