Night two of the 2024 NBA draft is scheduled for Thursday night, giving many teams more chances to improve their roster with fresh talent.

A lot of front offices are making plans and deals in order to get the most out of their night.

According to Gerald Bourguet, per Evan Sidery, the Phoenix Suns are a team that could trade up in the draft.

They might package their No. 56 overall pick along with a future second-round pick to secure a “prospect who could contribute immediately.”

It’s not entirely clear how productive the Suns will be this summer.

They already have a new head coach and there are some rumors about them making a few trades to give Kevin Durant and Devin Booker more support.

Phoenix might use the draft as a way to bolster their roster with hot new talent that can get to work quickly.

No one knows who they would pick but if they are plotting this move, they surely have someone in mind.

There have been some reports saying the Suns are intrigued by the idea of signing Bronny James but would he be the sort of win-now player they are looking for?

The Suns have to be very careful and strategic with their moves because they are strapped for cash and need a much better season in 2024-25.

Despite a ton of hype and great talent, the Suns ended the season as the sixth seed and got swept out of the opening round of the playoffs.

It is very obvious that they aren’t the team they want to be, but which rookie players will help them become more?
