We are in the slow days of the NFL calendar between OTAs and training camp.

There is no better way to do that than to argue about quarterback rankings with your coworkers, and one analyst recently named which QB he believes has the “most to prove” this upcoming season.

On a recent episode of First Take, former NFL wide receiver Harry Douglas and ESPN’s Courtney Cronin both believe Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen has the most to prove among all quarterbacks next season, saying “Doesn’t it kind of feel like put up or shut up with the Bills? How many times are you going to win the division and then you run into the Kansas City Chiefs?”

It’s a fair point, as the Bills are now 0-3 against the Chiefs in the playoffs in the Josh Allen era.

It has only been six years with Allen at the helm, but it has felt like a lifetime due to the heartbreaks this franchise has gone through since drafting him, and now Allen will have to find a way to get over the hump without his top two targets from last year with Stefon Diggs being traded to the Houston Texans and Gabe Davis signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars in free agency.

The AFC is loaded at the QB position, and it’ll be fun to see if Allen can keep cooking without his two favorite targets and get this team to a Super Bowl.
