Earlier this week, the Denver Broncos announced that after two disappointing seasons with superstar quarterback Russell Wilson under center for the storied NFL franchise, the team would be moving on during this offseason.
Although Wilson didn’t do much to instill any confidence in his skills moving forward, the veteran quarterback is still expected to draw some interest on the open market once NFL free agency gets underway.
Ever since it became known that the Broncos would more than likely move on from Wilson during the offseason, there’s been a lot of speculation about what teams in the league might be willing to take a chance on him.
Fortunately for Wilson, he’ll likely have no shortage of suitors when he becomes available, with Emmanuel Acho of FOX Sports breaking down what he believes are the top-five best fits for the one-time Super Bowl champion, via “Speak” on FS1.

The Minnesota Vikings, Las Vegas Raiders, Atlanta Falcons, Pittsburgh Steelers, and New England Patriots all have a need at the quarterback position and could show interest in the veteran during the offseason.
However, Acho believes that the Patriots are the best fit for him, but didn’t elaborate on why he believes New England to be the best next stop for Wilson at this point in his NFL career.
New England recently parted ways with legendary head coach Bill Belichick and has begun rebuilding, which would make this option a last option for the veteran quarterback because it likely provides no hope for success right out of the gate.
