There are 32 teams in the National Football League.
However, just a handful of them have a steady or solid coaching situation.
It’s not unusual to see teams parting ways with their coaches after a couple of subpar seasons, and it’s not a coincidence to see that the teams that are constantly firing coaches aren’t particularly the best teams in the league, either.
With that in mind, ESPN analyst Evan Cohen put together his list of the best coaches in the game right now (via UNSPORTSMANLIKE Radio).

At No. 5, he had Kyle Shanahan, whose offensive expertise has turned the San Francisco 49ers into one of the best and most entertaining teams to watch, even though he’s lost two Super Bowls.
John Harbaugh got the nod at No. 4, as his run-heavy offense and stout defense, plus the way he’s developed Lamar Jackson has made the Baltimore Ravens a perennial contender.
Notably, even though he just got back in the league, he chose Jim Harbaugh at No. 3, so he clearly has high hopes for the new-look Los Angeles Chargers.
Then, he chose Pittsburgh Steelers’ HC Mike Tomlin as the second-best coach in the league, which is not much of a surprise, as he’s never had a losing season since he took the reins almost two decades ago.
Unsurprisingly, he chose Andy Reid as the absolute best head coach in the game right now, as he’s won three Super Bowls since he joined the Kansas City Chiefs, turning them into the biggest powerhouse in the game.
