We’re just a couple of weeks away from the start of the NFL season.
We’ve seen all the teams make several additions and trades and give their young players a look in the preseason.
Judging by the current picture, we can already jump to conclusions about what may or may not happen in the upcoming season.
With that in mind, former NFL player Chris Canty shared his prediction about the top five sleeper teams ahead of the upcoming campaign (via UNSPORTSMANLIKE Radio).
We have @ChrisCanty99‘s TOP FIVE: Sleeper Teams
1.) Broncos
2.) Seahawks
3.) Colts
4.) Buccaneers
5.) Commanders

At No. 5, he has the Washington Commanders, which actually makes perfect sense.
They have an experienced new coach in Dan Quinn, a solid offensive coordinator in Kliff Kingsbury, a potential generational quarterback in Jayden Daniels, and plenty of weapons for him.
Then, he has the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Baker Mayfield is coming off the best season of his career, and even though losing Dave Canales was a big blow, they still have plenty of talent.
Canty has the Indianapolis Colts at No. 3.
The Colts managed to stay in contention both to win the AFC South Division and make the playoffs for most of the season, even despite having Gardner Minshew at quarterback.
Then, he has the Seattle Seahawks.
We have yet to know what Mike Macdonald will look like as a head coach and whether Geno Smith will be able to keep things up, so this was an interesting pick.
And last, but not least, he chose the Denver Broncos.
We already know what Sean Payton is able to do as a coach and play-caller, and while they have a young roster, they may have found a legitimate starter in Bo Nix.
