The Los Angeles Lakers are always expected to pursue NBA championships, even when they don’t have a championship-caliber roster.

Playing for or being hired by the Lakers comes with plenty of pressure as it is, and those who make it to the organization don’t need any more reasons to be in the eye of the storm.

That’s why former NFL player Emmanuel Acho believes JJ Redick and Bronny James will be under the most pressure in the organization next season.

In the latest edition of FOX Sports’ Speak, Acho claimed that both Redick and Bronny are a product of ‘isms.’

.@EmmanuelAcho explains why JJ Redick & Bronny are the Lakers under the most pressure next season.

He states that Redick was hired because of cronyism, as he was brought there because of his friendship with LeBron James.

As for Bronny, he got there because of nepotism, as he’s LeBron’s son.

Per Acho, they will now have to make people forget why they got there in the first place.

He talked about some of the countless instances of cronyism and nepotism in professional sports.

Truth be told, both things could go very well or very badly, and it seems like there will be no in-between.

But more than that, if things go south, it only makes sense that the fans and — above all — the media also hold James accountable for the huge impact he’s had on the team’s decision-making, even if he claims he wasn’t involved at all.
