The Denver Nuggets aren’t a big-market team, and they’ve often been overlooked.

Analysts have rarely talked about them despite being the defending NBA champions, and they don’t get the media attention they’ve earned over the past three years or so.

Also, even despite clearly being the undisputed best player in the game for four years straight, some fans and analysts still take offense at the fact that Nikola Jokic has won three MVPs, especially this season.

However, despite all that, NBA analyst Chiney Ogwumike still believes Jokic is the face of the league right now.

Talking on ESPN’s “Get Up,” she claimed that even though he’s not the flashiest player or the most athletic guy out there, he’s definitely a problem.

She’s right about the last part, but many are not so sure about the whole “face of the league” thing.

Jokic is the best player, but he’s not exactly marketable, nor does he want to be.

He’s not a guy who does a lot of talking or appearances; he’s all about business and hoops, just like Tim Duncan.

Jokic will go down as one of the greatest players to ever do it, and this era might even be called the Nikola Jokic era once it’s all said and done, but it doesn’t seem like he’s ever going to be the face of the league, and he won’t complain about that, either.
