The Boston Celtics easily took down the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night, beating that team 138-110 behind the strong work of Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Kristaps Porzingis.
It was a very important win for the Celtics, mostly because it helped them reach a big milestone.
On Twitter, Bill Simmons pointed out that the Celtics haven’t lost in a whole month and have also won their last five games by 127 points.
Friday night marked the team’s tenth win in a row and fans are wondering how much longer this streak can continue.
I just want to point out that the Celtics (a) haven’t lost in a month and (b) won their last 5 games by 127 points.

Over the last ten games, they have taken down teams like the Miami Heat, New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers, and others.
The team has been the best in the league all season long but they have been looking even better recently.
With 47 wins and just 12 losses, they are easily the best team in their conference, far ahead of the Cleveland Cavaliers who have a 39-20 record.
It would be very impressive to see the Celtics keep this streak going because they have some tough competitors in the days ahead.
They next face the Golden State Warriors on Sunday, followed by the Cavaliers, Denver Nuggets, and Phoenix Suns.
If they are able to beat all four of those teams, they will have 14 in a row, which hasn’t been done by any team all season long.
The Celtics are playing the best basketball in the league right now and certainly do look like championship contenders but they still have their work cut out for them.
If they aren’t able to go all the way this year, that will be met with serious disappointment, especially after such an explosive regular-season run.
