With the NBA Draft just around the corner, the public and the media are divided into two large groups: Those who want to hype Bronny James up and make him look like a steal, and those who are convinced he’s not a good player.
That, plus the fact that he barely played in his lone season in college, makes it very difficult to grasp legitimate and unbiased information about him right now.
It seems like everybody’s pushing their own agenda, and the fans will have to take everything they hear and see with a grain of salt, now more than ever.
Considering that, NFL insider Albert Breer was surprised to see that Bleacher Report listed Bronny’s height without shoes, stating that it was the first time he saw that kind of thing.
This is the first time I’ve ever seen an athlete’s listed height denote “without shoes”. https://t.co/M62W3jbSm5

Perhaps that’s due to the fact that he covers the NFL, as that’s actually standard procedure in the NBA Draft, even if that’s not usually the most important measurement that goes viral.
Also, it’s not like there were concerns or doubts about Bronny’s NBA-ready body, athleticism, or strength.
If anything, that’s the only thing that’s a given, and it’s far from a surprise considering his privileged gene pool.
Whatever the case, Bronny will have to carry a huge load when he makes it to the league, as he’ll have his father’s entire fan base rooting for him, as well as all of his critics.
Then, and only then, we’ll see who was right about him all along.
