Over the past couple of years, the Kansas City Chiefs have been the undisputed No. 1 team in the AFC, with the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals as close seconds.
The Chiefs enter the campaign as reigning Super Bowl champions again, and they figure to be a powerhouse for the sixth consecutive year.
Nonetheless, NFL analyst Sal Paolantonio believes the Baltimore Ravens have officially become a strong candidate to dethrone Patrick Mahomes and company, mostly because of the additions they made on the offensive side of the field.

Per Paolantonio, the fact that they got Odell Beckham Jr. could be huge, especially considering they also drafted Boston College star rookie WR Zay Flowers.
Flowers has drawn very positive reviews during OTAs, and Paolantonio claims he’s looking forward to watching him open things up for OBJ to do his thing as well.
He claimed that with new OC Todd Monken in town and a pace-and-space kind of offense, Mark Andrews and company could be in for a huge year offensively next season.
The Ravens already have an elite defense and one of the best quarterbacks in the game, not to mention an elite running back committee.
Dethroning the most dominant team in the league won’t be an easy task by any means, but the Ravens look like the kind of team that could at least make things quite complicated for them.
Of course, that’ll also depend on whether Lamar Jackson and Beckham can stay healthy throughout the season, given their recent history of injuries.
