Tom Brady is the greatest winner in NFL history.
He may or may not be the greatest player — that’s for the people to debate — but his résumé certainly gives him a legitimate claim to that honor.
Even so, some believe that Patrick Mahomes has a chance to go toe-to-toe with Brady as the greatest of all time (GOAT) once it’s all said and done.
He’s gotten off to the greatest start to an NFL career ever, although there’s one thing he’s never going to be able to do, which is beat Brady in the Super Bowl.
More than that, NFL analyst Craig Carton believes there’s no way that Mahomes will ever be considered the GOAT over Brady (via The Carton Show).
“Patrick Mahomes is the best quarterback TODAY. Tom Brady’s the greatest quarterback of all time.”

In the latest edition of his show, Carton stated that Mahomes could only surpass Brady by winning five more Super Bowls, and he was skeptical about whether or not Mahomes would be able to do that.
He didn’t want to disrespect the Kansas City Chiefs star, stating that he’s one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time and the greatest of his generation — he’s just not on Brady’s level.
Truth be told, it will be extremely difficult for anyone to come close to winning seven Super Bowls.
But if someone can make a run for it, that’s most definitely Mahomes.
He’s already most likely a first-ballot Hall of Famer and he hasn’t even turned 30 years old.
He has a tough path ahead of him, but Mahomes has proven that you can never count him out.
