The Philadelphia Eagles may have the best record in the NFL, but they are always looking for ways to improve.

Despite their 10-1 record, the Eagles have holes on their roster.

One of their biggest weaknesses is at linebacker.

That is why the Eagles have reportedly been aggressive in pursuit of former Indianapolis Colts linebacker Darius Leonard.

It appears they also have an interest in reuniting with recently released tight end Zach Ertz.

With Dallas Goedert out with a broken arm, Ertz could step in and provide some production.

He was having a solid season with the Arizona Cardinals before he was placed on IR and then released.

NFL analyst Emmanuel Acho believes that the Eagles will land both of those players within the next 48 hours.

It will be interesting to see if the Eagles can land either player as Acho predicted.

They are not the only ones with interest in Leonard.

He is also being pursued by the Dallas Cowboys.

It seems like Leonard will end up in the NFC East, it just remains to be seen with which team.

As we enter December football, everything is up for grabs in the NFC.

Both the Eagles and Cowboys are fighting for the NFC East title.

Also, those two teams along with the Lions and 49ers are alive for the number one seed in the conference.

It is rare for free-agent signings this late in the year to have any impact.

But, both Leonard and Ertz were surprisingly released.

There seems to be a good chance at least one of them will be playing for the Eagles over the next week.
