The Dallas Cowboys needed someone who could step up and fill the void left by Trevon Diggs, who’s out for the season.

Notably, it didn’t take long before DaRon Bland proved that he could be an almost exact replica: A volatile cornerback who could get burned multiple times in one game but who’s also an elite ball-hawk and a perennial threat to pick off a pass.

With that in mind, NFL analyst Greg Cosell believes Mike McDaniel and the Miami Dolphins will try to attack him with double moves to expose him and make the most of their explosive offense, all while trying to take down his chances of getting interceptions (via the Ross Tucker Podcast).

Truth be told, the Dolphins have the most explosive offense in the game by a significant margin, and given the Cowboys’ struggles to keep up with teams on the road, they should make the most of it by not even allowing them to set their defense, running mostly a no-huddle offense to slowly wear them out.

Also, the Buffalo Bills already gave them a blueprint as to how to crush them with the running game.

James Cook torched them for over seven yards per carry, and with their elite running back tandem of De’Von Achane and Raheem Mostert, they should be in a privileged position to run for over 150 yards and keep Dan Quinn’s defense guessing throughout the course of the entire game.

This will be a tough challenge for the Cowboys.
