The Los Angeles Lakers have their new coach.
JJ Redick will have his very first coaching experience, and he’ll do it in charge of one of the most storied and media-scrutinized franchises in all of major sports.
For years, Redick has drawn attention as a potential candidate, either for coaching or to join a coaching staff, but he had turned down most of those opportunities.
Now, he’s going to work very closely with his friend and business partner, LeBron James.
That, plus the fact that he had no coaching experience whatsoever, raised some questions about him and his ability to lead the team to success.
However, NBA analyst Carrington Harrison thinks the real issue he’s going to face is the fact that he has no talent to work with.
What will be JJ Redick’s biggest problem be as the head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers?@cdotharrison answers

Talking on Mad Dog Sports Radio, the analyst stated that the Lakers are an old team in a young league and that they simply don’t have the talent to compete at the highest level.
He stated that, unlike the Boston Celtics, they’re not the kind of team that could withstand any sort of attrition, meaning that any injury would be pretty much lethal to them.
The Lakers are definitely not the most talented team in the league by any means, but they’re still solid in the sense that they should’ve been higher than the No. 7 seed.
Whatever the case, their coaching seat has been the hottest in the league for almost a decade now, and it’ll be interesting to see how they deal with Redick if the team falls short.
