There might not be a player more primed for a bounce-back season than Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins.
Despite tearing his Achilles last season, Cousins was able to sign a massive four-year deal with Atlanta earlier this offseason and is fully healthy at the start of the 2024 season.
In addition to his health being good, his offensive weapons are also dangerous.
That and more is why Fanduel TV’s Cousin Sal believes Cousins will win the NFL Comeback Player of the Year this season.
“The Falcons are poised to make the playoffs…Before his injury, Cousins led the NFL with 18 touchdown passes,” Cousin Sal recently said on The Ringer.

Say what you want about Cousins as a playoff quarterback, but the four-time Pro-Bowler is a very consistent player in the regular season.
The former Michigan State star has thrown for over 4,000 yards seven times in his career and has previously led the league in completion percentage.
He has also guided multiple organizations to the playoffs in his career, which is something not even Tom Brady did until the end of his storied career.
Cousins will have a host of weapons alongside him in twitchy running back Bijan Robinson (1,463 scrimmage yards, eight total touchdowns in 2023), Pro Bowl tight end Kyle Pitts, former first-round wide receiver Drake London, and former 1,000-yard wide receiver Darnell Mooney.
It is fair to say that Cousins has all the potential for a major season this year and if his team makes the playoffs, other teams might want to look out.
