The Baltimore Ravens could be a dark-horse team in the AFC this season, and they have gone from nearly losing their franchise player to hoping to go deep in the playoffs.
Quarterback Lamar Jackson was thought to be on his way out after demanding a huge new contract for many months, but the team caved and gave him a bag that will be worth $260 million over five years.
The Ravens also have a new offensive coordinator in Todd Monken, and analyst Sam Monson says that he will institute a more pass-heavy offense around Jackson, per PFF NFL Podcast.

Monson said the new offense will look more like what Jackson ran during his college days at the University of Louisville, rather than the run-heavy offense he has been in during his time in the NFL.
Jackson has always been one of the best dual-threat QBs in the game, but his passing productivity has dipped ever since he won the regular season MVP award in 2019.
Over the last few years, Baltimore has regularly been near the top of the league in rushing attempts and toward the bottom of the league in pass attempts, but now, they have some more weaponry through the air.
They signed wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to a generous one-year contract, and he is looking to regain his old form after two torn ACLs in a span of about 18 months.
The Ravens also have rookie wideout Zay Flowers, who had 1,077 yards and 12 touchdowns last year while with Boston College.
If Beckham and Flowers live up to expectations, the Ravens could possibly have an outside shot at playing for a spot in the Super Bowl.
