The Boston Celtics have officially made it to the NBA Finals after a 4-0 series sweep of the Indiana Pacers.

They await the winner of the Western Conference Finals and will face off against either the Minnesota Timberwolves or the Dallas Mavericks.

While making it to the NBA Finals is certainly an accomplishment, that doesn’t seem to be enough for this Celtics team.

They’ve made it to the Eastern Conference Finals in four of the last five years, and the NBA Finals in two of the past three years.

The Celtics, in a sense, were expected to be in this position given their dominance during the regular season.

If they don’t end up winning the NBA Finals this year, they could continue to get criticized by fans and analysts alike.

One of the key pieces to this Celtics roster is the play of Jayson Tatum, the team’s most prominent star.

Emmanuel Acho recently appeared on “Speak” on FS1, outlining what an NBA Finals win would do for Tatum’s legacy.

“Right now, Tatum is in a room with the likes of Devin Booker, he’s in a room with the likes of “Spida” Mitchell. But if Tatum wins a title, he gets to walk out of that room,” Acho said.

Acho believes that Tatum has yet to separate himself from other great players in the league, but a title would certainly help him do that.

While Tatum has been one of the best players in the league in recent seasons, there is a small concern that he can’t get it done in the playoffs.

Will he and the Celtics finally get over the hump this year?
