The first night of the 2024 NBA draft was held on Wednesday night and a bunch of teams earned great talent that could change them for the better in the new season.
But who did best during the event and claimed the biggest prize?
Sitting in on “The Carton Show,” John Fanta said the Minnesota Timberwolves had the best night and made the smartest choice.

Fanta was surely referring to the fact that the Timberwolves were able to get a top-ten pick.
During the first round of the draft, the San Antonio Spurs acquired Rob Dillingham, a former Kentucky big man.
But right as Dillingham was selected, it was announced that the Spurs were trading Dillingham to the Timberwolves.
Dillingham was a huge help for Kentucky, averaging 15.2 points, 3.9 assists, 2.9 rebounds, and 1 steal during 23.3 minutes per game.
He has a field goal percentage of 47.5% and a three-point percentage of 44.4%.
The idea of Dillingham playing alongside Anthony Edwards, Karl-Anthony Towns, Rudy Gobert, and others was very appealing to Minnesota fans and they are already daydreaming about what that lineup would look like.
The Timberwolves were already one of the best teams in the West and there is a chance that the acquisition of Dillingham just made them better.
Minnesota has a lot on its plate next season.
They have to build upon the season they just had, which saw them go far in the playoffs after years of suffering in the postseason.
Anthony Edwards became a breakout star, the team had a dominant defense, and they claimed their title as one of the most exciting teams in the league.
What can Dillingham bring them in the new season?
