NBA players having podcasts has been a controversial subject.
Some don’t care for the fact that they have their minds somewhere else during the season, even though recording a podcast only takes a couple of hours of a 24-hour day.
Others actually appreciate the insight and input they bring to the table, as who’s better at telling their story than those who actually live it?
Needless to say, Paul George has drawn mixed reviews over his Podcast P Show.
Recently, he stirred the pot by shedding light on his negotiations with the Los Angeles Clippers and revealing some of the details.
He took offense at the fact that they initially offered him two years and $60 million, which was quite low for a player of his caliber.
Nonetheless, FOX Sports Radio host Ben Maller believes he was being disingenuous.

In the latest edition of his show, he claimed that George didn’t want to look like the bad guy, which is why he was trying to turn the tables on the Clippers.
He added that no one ever takes the first offer, so there was no need to overreact to it.
He was right to a degree, but the fact that they made him that offer spoke volumes about the way they saw him on the team, so George may have had a right to feel disrespected.
At the end of the day, he wound up getting significantly more money in free agency, even more than what he would’ve gotten with the Clippers’ final offer.
