It’s crazy to think that no one seems to think of the Pittsburgh Steelers as Super Bowl contenders.
They finished last season on a very high note, and they’ve only gotten better ever since.
As a matter of fact, Brad Spielberger of PFF went as far as to claim that they’ve had a ‘flawless offseason,’ praising GM Omar Khan for the job he’s done over the past couple of months.

The Steelers were able to make up for the big blow that came with losing Cameron Sutton by signing a veteran like Patrick Peterson.
They also made the most of the chance to replace Chase Claypool — who they had sent to the Chicago Bears in a trade last season — by signing veteran WR Allen Robinson II, who’ll have a chip on his shoulder after a tough stint with the Los Angeles Rams.
Their moves in the NFL Draft were also remarkable.
The Wisconsin duo of Nick Herbig and Keeanu Benton will boost an already impressive pass rush unit, while CB Joey Porter Jr. has the potential to be one of the biggest steals of his class.
Kenny Pickett has looked outstanding during training camp and the preseason, and the hype is real after watching him improve so much in the final couple of weeks of the season.
Add one of the best coaches in the game in Mike Tomlin, and there’s no reason to think the Steelers can’t compete at the highest level and keep up with other powerhouses in the AFC.
