Many comparisons get made when talking about NFL players.
Many people love to debate who the best player at any particular position is.
But, some people love to say hot takes that most deem false.
That was the case with ESPN football analyst Ryan Clark.
He made a bold statement by saying Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens is “more talented” than Minnesota Vikings star Justin Jefferson.

If you ask most NFL fans they would say Jefferson is one of the best wide receivers in football.
Pickens may not even be in the top 20.
Jefferson has produced elite numbers ever since he stepped into the league in 2020.
In three seasons he has never had fewer than 1,400 receiving yards.
He has made the Pro Bowl each season and has been named an All-Pro.
Pickens is only entering his second year after not doing much in his rookie season.
Last year he caught 52 passes for 801 yards and four touchdowns.
Yet, Clark said Pickens was more “talented” than Jefferson.
But, there is nothing that can prove that claim.
Jefferson is elite at separating and has some of the best hands in the NFL.
Pickens has not shown the ability to consistently dominate as Jefferson has.
Also, Pickens has never been the number-one receiving option on his team.
Clark was a longtime Steelers player so it makes sense for him to hype up Pickens.
But, this take is one that almost no one will agree with.
And it is setting Pickens up for unfair criticism.
