Analyst Says 1 City Is A ‘Fake Top Notch Sports Town’

The Philadelphia 76ers know that they need everything to go their way on Thursday night.

With their season hanging by a thread, they must have their fan base locked and loaded at Wells Fargo Center to create a hostile environment against the New York Knicks.

The proximity of the two cities and the Knicks’ popularity have opened the door for some opposing fans to flood the Sixers’ arena in Games 3 and 4 of the series.

That’s why Sixers owner Michael Rubin decided to pull off a big move by buying 2,000 tickets for Game 6 to give them away to local fans and avoid Knicks fans taking over.

With that in mind, New York Knicks fan and sports analyst Craig Carton claimed that Philadelphia was a ‘fake top-notch sports city,’ adding that it was a weak move by Rubin.

In the latest edition of The Carton Show, Carton mocked and questioned their toughness if they were so worried about an opposing team’s fan base taking over and packing their arena.

Truth be told, this series has been the most exciting in the first round thus far.

The series has been unpredictable and physical, which is what happens when you have two teams like the Knicks and Sixers.

This move might seem weak to some, while others might think of it as the ultimate flex.

Whatever the case, every little detail matters before a crucial game like this one, so let every team do whatever it takes to move on to the next round.
