The Denver Nuggets were out of character in their Game 2 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Mike Malone’s team doesn’t do that much talking or complaining, at least during games.

This time, however, they allowed the referees and the lopsided score to get in their heads.

At least, that’s how NBA legend Tim Hardaway thinks.

Talking on The Carton Show, he stated that the Nuggets forgot about the actual game because they were too busy whining and complaining to the officials.

Moreover, he called Jamal Murray out and disagreed with the league’s decision not to suspend him.

He argued that someone could have been seriously hurt by throwing a towel and a heating pad onto the court.

“I disagree with the NBA. I would’ve suspended Jamal Murray.”

The league fined him $100,000.

Granted, suspending a team’s second-best player when they’re down 0-2 isn’t particularly good for competitiveness, but that shouldn’t matter at this point.

Murray’s actions were unsportsmanlike, out of place, and simply inexcusable.

He could’ve even got one of his teammates hurt, and there’s no way the Nuggets, the players, or the coaching staff should condone this kind of behavior.

Hopefully, the Nuggets will be able to regroup and show a better version of themselves in the next games of the series, and this will be the last time we see Murray tangled up in something like this.
