Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors is now 36 years old, which is when most NBA players slow down and their skills begin to diminish.
That doesn’t seem the case for Curry, who just signed another extension with the Warriors.
Speaking on SiriusXM NBA Radio, Amin Elhassan said Curry is similar to LeBron James because he has a game that “ages well.”
He said that Curry’s numbers won’t dip much, just like James’ haven’t, because he is also a cerebral player who is about so much more than physicality.

Curry put up 26.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 5.1 assists in the 2023-24 season and shot 45% from the field and 40.8% from beyond the three-point line.
Those are remarkably high numbers, especially for someone who has been in the NBA for 15 seasons.
His numbers have dropped but only a little bit and Curry is still the most important player for the Warriors.
That is why they are willing to spend so much money to retain him as long as possible.
NBA fans have seen many players who have become less and less effective as the years go on.
Age catches up with many of them and they simply aren’t able to produce like they used to.
But Curry and James seem to be the exceptions to this rule and they are still hugely consequential and considered two of the best players in the league, even as both of them approach 40 years old.
Will Curry’s game continue to age well or will he hit a wall during the next few seasons?
The Warriors want a lot more of Curry and it seems like he has plenty more to give.
