The Denver Nuggets are in unchartered territory right now.

The reigning NBA champions lost Game 1 at home against an up-and-coming and hungry Minnesota Timberwolves team, and they need to regroup on Monday night.

Needless to say, this could be a pivotal moment for Mike Malone’s team, as falling down 0.-2 at home could put them in a very complicated situation.

That’s why sports analyst Craig Carton claimed that tonight’s game would pretty much put the Nuggets’ season on the line.

Talking on The Carton Show, he argued that losing two games at home would clearly put them against the ropes as the series headed to the Twin Cities.

“This is now the Nuggets’ season on the line tonight,” Carton said.

Anthony Edwards has officially arrived.

The Timberwolves are feeding off his relentless energy and how he’s always looking to uplift and lead everybody.

Despite his age, he’s clearly become this franchise’s leader and vocal presence, and his electric energy is just contagious.

The Nuggets are the reigning NBA champions for a reason, and they should be more than capable of getting back at this team and securing a win at home on Monday night.

Nonetheless, the Timberwolves are still undefeated in the playoffs, and they’re playing with the kind of confidence that could turn a very good team into a legitimate NBA championship contender.

Some thought their regular-season success was a fluke, stating that young teams rarely go far in the playoffs.

Fast forward to today, and they have secured homecourt advantage against the defending champions, so it seems like there was nothing fluky about them.
