Over the past few years, the Miami Dolphins have been a team on the rise in the NFL, with the team taking it to another level ever since the franchise hired Mike McDaniel to be the new head coach.
With McDaniel winning over the players and clearly having what it takes to be a great coach in the NFL, the future seems bright in Miami, especially with some talented players like quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, wide receiver Jaylen Waddle and superstar wideout Tyreek Hill.
Even though the Dolphins have been a team that has improved from year to year under McDaniel, the team has yet to show results when it matters most, as Miami flamed out of the NFL playoffs last year after getting beat by the eventual Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs in the first round.
With the Dolphins having one of the most talented squads in the league, especially on the offensive side of the football, and the franchise taking care of its three stars on offense with contract extensions this offseason, the pressure will be on during the 2024 NFL season to produce results.
Nick Wright of FOX Sports believes the 2024 campaign will be a “must-win” situation for McDaniel via First Things First.
“This is a must-win year for Mike McDaniel,” Wright said.

Although the pressure will undoubtedly be felt in Miami to have a productive 2024 NFL season, it won’t be a make-or-break season for McDaniel just yet, as he probably has a year or two before there’s talk of him being on the hot seat unless the team heads in the other direction in the win-loss column.
It’ll be interesting to see if the Dolphins can live up to expectations this season and if they can be a legitimate Super Bowl title contender in the AFC.
