Very few jobs are more important to an NFL organization than the head coach.
The head coach is a figurehead for the team, a leader on and off the sideline.
With only 32 such jobs in the league, teams need to be strategic with who they assign this role.
Having sustained success in the NFL has proven to be difficult, and very few coaches have a long, illustrious career.
If a team struggles to win down the stretch, their coach is generally blamed for their inadequacies.
That is why, despite his early success, Nick Sirianni is on the hot seat, at least, according to some analysts.
Former player, Brian Mitchell, was very honest about his feelings towards Sirianni as he expressed in a recent segment on Infinity Sports Network.
“He needs to go out there and be a grown-up, act like a d*** adult,” Mitchell said.

Mitchell believes Sirianni’s on-field antics make him a perfect candidate to have a fire underneath him.
He was overly critical of Sirianni’s behavior, and if it doesn’t get better, his job could be in danger.
The Eagles had a monumental collapse in the second half of last season, causing them to lose in the first round of the playoffs.
For a team that was in the Super Bowl in 2022, a first-round exit was not what they had in mind.
For Sirianni’s sake, he will hopefully figure it out heading into 2022, resulting in a much better season for his team, giving him more job security in the meantime.
