The Philadelphia Eagles had the best record in the league at one point in the season, boasting a 10-1 mark.
Fast forward to today, and Nick Sirianni’s team is now 11-5, losing four of their last five.
The Eagles were in sole control of the NFC and the NFC East Division, but that’s no longer the case.
They could still get the No. 1 spot in the division if they beat the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys lose to the Washington Commanders, but that doesn’t seem likely at this point.
More than that, the Eagles are stumbling their way into the playoffs, and that’s never a good omen.
With that in mind, NFL analyst Craig Carton talked about how he’s lost all faith in this team’s ability to get the job done.
“The locker room is a mess. The coaching staff is a mess. The play calling is a mess,” Carton said.
“I don’t think the #Eagles can do it. I don’t think Jalen Hurts is right. I think the play calling’s been atrocious. Their defense is atrocious right now.”

Talking on The Carton Show, he pointed out just how much their defense has struggled as of late, stating that they’ve even lost games in which they’ve scored 30 points.
Carton stated that Jalen Hurts isn’t playing well, and their play-calling hasn’t been good at all, adding that the coaching staff and locker room are in a tough situation right now.
And while they do have more than enough talent to get the job done and beat anyone on any given Sunday, Carton doesn’t think they will be able to just flip a switch and get back to their winning ways come playoff time.
Things don’t look good in Philly at the moment, and it’ll be interesting to see how they respond to this challenge.
