The Kansas City Chiefs have reached the AFC Championship for the sixth straight year.
This has become familiar territory for Patrick Mahomes, but this is the first time in his career to play the AFC Championship on the road.
Normally, the Chiefs would be favored in a game like this, but not this year.
The Baltimore Ravens are currently favored by 3.5 points, a sign that oddsmakers slightly favor them in this matchup.
Craig Carton and his team broke down the game on his show, where he was critical of the Chiefs’ chances of winning.
Carton said, “The Chiefs are out of their league in this game,” later adding, “I think the Chiefs could get blown out.”

The Ravens had one of the NFL’s best defenses this season, making them a difficult matchup for even the best opponents.
While Mahomes and the Chiefs have been dominant over the past several years, Carton still thinks they can get blown out.
Lamar Jackson has taken command of this offense, and he will likely win the league’s MVP award due to his on-field efforts in the regular season.
Plus, Jackson is viewed as having far superior receiving options at his disposal, which could end up being the difference in this game.
There is an ‘X” factor that many are not considering, which is the fact that Travis Kelce is still on this team.
Kelce continues to be one of the best tight ends in the league, and he is on a historic playoff pace with Mahomes.
If they keep their chemistry alive, there is a glimmer of hope that they can win this one.
