The Cleveland Browns have made some questionable decisions in terms of the players that they have brought in over the last few years.
Talent-wise, they have one of the best teams on paper.
However, there are a few players that have some character issues.
This topic is being brought up now by multiple NFL analysts because of the latest arrest for Browns rookie defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr.
Analyst John Middlekauff believes Cleveland overlooks character when they assemble their roster.
“(The Browns) overlook character a lot…(Mike Hall Jr.) couldn’t even make it to the second preseason game without a major situation coming up,” Middlekauff recently said on 3 And Out.

This is not the first time that the Cleveland Browns have brought in a player with some baggage.
They of course signed quarterback Deshaun Watson to a record-breaking contract a few seasons ago despite some troubling off-the-field issues.
Hall was picked in the second round of the NFL Draft by Cleveland earlier this offseason and as Middlekauff notes, for him to not even make it through two weeks of the preseason before getting handcuffed is a major problem.
What is especially troubling about this arrest is that it surrounds the topic of domestic violence.
It is hard to see how an NFL team can give somebody an opportunity to play for them when they possibly bring harm to another person.
The Browns are trying to win football games like everybody else, but they need to notice how teams such as the Green Bay Packers, San Francisco 49ers, and the Pittsburgh Steelers handle business.
They win without employing players who have plenty of off-the-field issues.
Perhaps the Browns need to re-evaluate their style of management.
