Heading into the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs, the Buffalo Bills had the perfect opportunity to finally get the best of Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in the postseason.
The defending Super Bowl champions would have to play on the road in frigid conditions in a hostile environment, which is something that Andy Reid’s squad has not been used to during this era of dominance for Kansas City.
Even though everything seemed to be lined up in the Bills’ favor, with superstar quarterback Josh Allen playing at a very high level, Buffalo dropped the ball at home and lost to the Chiefs in the playoffs once again.
In the aftermath of another postseason loss to the Chiefs, Emmanuel Acho of FOX Sports argues that the Bills’ window to win a Super Bowl is officially closed, via “Speak” on FS1.

On one hand, Acho could be right on the money in his assessment, as the Bills will likely never have a better opportunity to get the best of the Chiefs in the playoffs.
However, the Chiefs could be headed in the wrong direction after this season, while the Bills may have the opportunity to make some key changes and upgrades in order to prepare for anything in the postseason moving forward.
Only time will tell if the Bills’ Super Bowl window with Allen at the helm is truly closed, as anything can happen in the NFL offseason to help this team right the ship, with the team almost certainly determined to make some much-needed changes.
