The Green Bay Packers have appeared to open up their Super Bowl window just one season after they moved on from Aaron Rodgers.

After spending three years learning from the legend, quarterback Jordan Love took over as the full-time starter in 2023 and guided Green Bay to the playoffs.

Fox Sports’s Plaxico Burress believes Love can be one of the elite players in the game this year.

“He is an MVP caliber quarterback,” the former Super Bowl-winning wide receiver recently said on The Carton Show.

After a rough start for Love and the Packers through the first nine weeks of the season when they were 3-6, the team started to turn the page.

They finished 9-8 and made the playoffs with Love going on a tear in the back-half of the season.

He threw 18 touchdowns and just a single interception in between Weeks 11 and 18.

The former first-round pick finished his season ranked in the top 10 in passing yards, completions, touchdown passes, and QBR.

In a do-or-die situation in Week 18 against the arch-rival Bears, Love led Green Bay to a 17-9 win at Lambeau Field to clinch a playoff spot.

The fun didn’t stop there as Love would go on to lead Green Bay to a blowout win over the Cowboys on the road in the Wild Card Round.

In what was his first playoff start, Love went 16 of 21 for 272 passing yards and 3 touchdown passes.

This is his team now.

With the roster that is in place, the soon-to-be paid franchise signal-caller could have an even better year this year.
