Most analysts predicted the Jacksonville Jaguars would just run away with the AFC South division this season, but that hasn’t been the case at all.
While the Jaguars have been the best and most consistent team in the division this season, the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans have also fared much better than expected.
With that in mind, Jason McCourty and Mike Florio talked about how the AFC South has a bright future and could be a battle to the end for years to come (via Sunday Night Football on NBC).

The Tennessee Titans haven’t fared well at all this season, but there’s still a chance that Will Levis turns out to be a good quarterback.
Anthony Richardson showed glimpses of greatness on limited snaps this season, looking like the most exciting dual-threat quarterback in the game early in the campaign.
C.J. Stroud should run away with Offensive Rookie of the Year honors and should even be in the MVP conversation for the way he’s put the Texans on his shoulders and single-handedly led them to playoff contention.
Following a slow start to his promising NFL career, Trevor Lawrence finally looks like the real deal, and the Jaguars have looked much better than they did last season, which is a lot to say, considering they’re already the reigning division champions.
If all these teams keep this pace for the next couple of seasons, we could be looking at the most competitive division in the league for years to come.
