The Cleveland Browns are a team to watch out for during the 2024 NFL season as they could be a dark horse candidate to win the Super Bowl.
Cleveland isn’t talked about like the other AFC teams because of their lack of playoff success, but they’re just as talented as the rest of the competition.
The Browns are expecting a bounce-back year with most of their key players back and healthy, namely Deshaun Watson who should be ready to go after missing the second half of last season with a shoulder injury.
While the offense should see a spike in production with a healthy Watson and more receiving weapons, the defense is what can really take the team to the next level.
Myles Garrett is one of the leading candidates for NFL Defensive Player of the Year, but he’s got plenty of help along the front seven.
In fact, some analysts like Warren Sharp of Sharp Football believe that Cleveland has the best front seven in the league.

Garrett is the headliner, but he’s also got players like Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, Jordan Hicks, Shelby Harris, Devin Bush and Za’Darius Smith alongside him.
There’s also a good amount of depth behind the projected starters, meaning that the Browns should be able to wreak havoc on the defensive end for entire games.
On paper, there’s little reason to doubt that Cleveland can’t compete with the rest of the conference and it’ll be interesting to see if they can make good on their potential.
