For years, the Los Angeles Chargers have built a reputation for being able to lose games in different ways and Week 6 was no different as they shot themselves in the foot against the Dallas Cowboys.
Down three points late in the fourth quarter, the Chargers had the football and could’ve either tied or taken the lead but Justin Herbert threw an ill-advised pass under duress that was intercepted and ended the game.
At 2-3, Los Angeles finds themselves third in the AFC West and facing enormous pressure to start winning games.
Brandon Staley’s seat is getting hotter and hotter each passing week as his roster continues to fall short despite all the talent on both sides of the ball.
The Kansas City Chiefs look like a lock to win the division, but even the Las Vegas Raiders have been able to pass up the Chargers in the standings.

Acho brings up Los Angeles’ Week 7 matchup against Kansas City which could easily leave them at 2-4 after Sunday.
Should the Chargers continue to lose, their playoff chances become smaller and smaller and that would have to lead to some organizational changes.
L.A. came into the season as a popular pick to break out given the talent on the roster but they’ve severely underwhelmed up to this point and it’s anyone’s guess if they can actually turn things around.
A win against the Chiefs would go a long way, but that’s going to be a tough mountain to climb.
