Everyone knows that Damian Lillard wants to move from the Portland Trail Blazers to the Miami Heat.
But everyone also knows that any deal to make that happen isn’t moving.
What other teams could he end up with?
According to insider Danny Marang, via Dru on Twitter, Lillard would be interested to play with Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks – but there’s a catch.
“I know Dame would like to play with Giannis. That’s somebody he used to talk about for literal years,” Marang said on the Danny & Dusty show.
However, he then added: “But he doesn’t want to go to Milwaukee. It’s a small town. Very cold, away from everything.”

Lillard would be a great fit with the Bucks.
With his ability to handle the ball, make plays, and shoot from just about anywhere, he would open up the team’s offense in a huge way.
He would also likely work well alongside Antetokounmpo, someone he has always admired.
Of course, Lillard would have to accept a major fact about Milwaukee: it’s definitely not Miami.
It’s smaller, way colder, and often feels a world away from Florida.
If a plan to move him to the Bucks was truly offered, Lillard would have to weigh his desire to win versus his desire to be comfortable at home.
He would have a pretty big chance of making the Finals if he came to Milwaukee but he likely wouldn’t be as happy.
Of course, all of this may be a moot point because the latest reporting has said that most teams in the league aren’t interested in pursuing Lillard.
They know he only wants to play for the Heat so they aren’t even trying to land him.
