Patrick Mahomes is currently the king of the castle in the NFL.

The three-time Super Bowl champion and two-time MVP winner could be on the verge of guiding Kansas City to the league’s first-ever three-peat in 2024.

At just 28 years of age, he has already built himself a Canton-worthy portfolio that cannot be disputed.

With the All-Pro being the best in the game, ESPN analyst Gary Striewski naturally picked one quarterback who he trusts the most to beat Mahomes and the Chiefs in a recent appearance on First Take.

“Give me Dak Prescott…This guy was 12-5 last season…It just so happens Dak Prescott led the No. 1 scoring offense in all the National Football League,” Striewski stated.

Despite not having much playoff success during his career, Prescott has proven himself to be a solid Pro Bowl quarterback.

The three-time Pro-Bowler and former Offensive Rookie of the Year was in the MVP voting last year after leading the league in completions (410) and touchdown passes (36).

He has guided the Cowboys to five playoff appearances and multiple division titles in his career thanks to his consistency.

The former Mississippi State star has recorded a passer rating of over 95 in five of the last six seasons.

No, he hasn’t always been the best performer in the playoffs given his two career postseason victories in eight years.

But, what if he had the defense of a Patrick Mahomes or a Tom Brady to help him out?

Prescott against Mahomes would be must-see television in the Super Bowl but the only way Dallas gets there is if they kick their play up a notch this year, especially at positions around their star quarterback.
