The Denver Nuggets found themselves on top of the NBA world after the 2022-2023 season.
They put together a special year that culminated in the franchise’s first title, a title that cannot be taken away from them.
Nikola Jokic is the star of this team, but he’s surrounded by great role players to help him along the way, including Jamal Murray.
At one point in his career, Murray was said to be the next superstar, making an elite pairing between him and Jokic.
However, some analysts have changed their tune toward Murray, including Justin Termine, who gave an updated report on Murray in a recent segment of Sirius XM NBA Radio.
Per Termine, “I’m convinced Murray may never make an All-Star team at this point,” adding, “My feeling has completely changed in a year.”

Termine pointed to the fact that not only is the competition heating up around him, but Murray isn’t getting any younger.
His youth used to be a strength, and when he was playing at the top of his game, it was extremely impressive to see what Murray was able to accomplish.
Now that he’s slowed down, at least in Termine’s eyes, he could be a less-than-valuable asset to the Nuggets moving forward.
One championship isn’t enough for this team and fanbase, especially since they’ve tasted what it feels like to finally hoist the trophy over their heads.
If Murray can’t perform like the superstar he is being paid to be, the team could look elsewhere, quickly.
