The NBA’s tampering policies have always been questioned.
Players have openly talked about bonding and building close relationships with other guys over the summer, and we’ve seen multiple instances of former Team USA members later teaming up in the league.
That’s why Evan Cohen of ESPN Radio believes there could be something brewing there.
Talking on the UNSPORTSMANLIKE Radio Show, he claimed that all eyes would be on LeBron James’ relationship with Stephen Curry.

He claimed that James is ‘desperate’ to be friends with Curry.
Cohen also remembered several instances in which Team USA led to stars teaming up, with James and the Miami Heat’s Big 3 being one of the latest examples.
So, with the Warriors reportedly trying to trade for LeBron last season, he wouldn’t be shocked if they made another push somewhere down the line.
James does have a no-trade clause in his contract, but as Cohen pointed out, he also has a 50% trade kicker, meaning he can both handpick his next destination and get more money because of it, thus opening the door for a move to the Warriors again.
Notably, it’s hard to envision that happening, but we’ve seen crazier things happen in this league.
