The Los Angeles Lakers are among the most well-recognized teams and brands in any major United States sport.

They have a rich history of winning, but in recent years, they have struggled to gain traction down the stretch.

After seeing the team fall early in the playoffs this season, many fans and analysts believed they would work diligently to make some changes, to their roster and their overall scheme.

The Lakers have certainly shaken things up over the past several weeks, moving on from head coach Darvin Ham, and adding some new players to the roster.

One of those players is Bronny James, a draft selection that has been met with its fair share of controversy.

This story has been covered by many news outlets, including FS1, which had Emmanuel Acho speak about the current state of the team and its relationship with the James family moving forward.

“LeBron’s primary objective is no longer winning championships,” Acho said.

He also said, “I think the Lakers and LeBron James have two different goals. LeBron’s primary goal was to play with his son.”

Acho’s line of thinking is similar to many others in the industry.

There is a growing sense of frustration within the fanbase, as many people believe that LeBron is pulling a lot of strings behind the scenes, causing several unfavorable outcomes to play out to this point.

With all of this in mind, it will be interesting to see what the Lakers can accomplish next year, and if they’ll find a way to rise above all of these distractions.
