After winning six championships with the Chicago Bulls in six attempts, superstar guard Michael Jordan cemented his legacy as quite possibly the greatest player in NBA history, with uncanny skills and an unmatched determination that inspired the basketball world.

Unfortunately for Jordan, success didn’t follow him when he decided to take over the then-Charlotte Bobcats, now the Charlotte Hornets, as he couldn’t put together the right pieces of the puzzle to put a winning product on the floor.

The Hornets’ woes over the years have hurt Jordan’s legacy somewhat, as he wasn’t a great NBA executive and owner, but after calling it quits and deciding to sell a majority stake in the team, he’s insanely rich, as he’s gone from being a billionaire to a multi-billionaire.

Although Jordan was able to flip a losing franchise into an insane profit in two decades, Nick Wright of Fox Sports thinks Jordan’s tenure as the Hornets owner should impact his legacy from now on via the Herd with Colin Cowherd.

Yes, Jordan wasn’t a great executive or owner, but as a businessman, he’s on another level, with potentially only Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson being close to him in that category regarding success as a businessman in their post-playing careers.

The debate over the greatest of all time will go on forever, with the narrative constantly changing, especially with what LeBron James has been able to do on and off the court, but Jordan remains arguably the cream of the crop with some remarkable accomplishments on his resume.
