The Milwaukee Bucks have made all the headlines lately, but not for the best reasons.

The team is now playing for their third coach in less than a year, and it doesn’t seem like they’re a legitimate championship contender right now, at least not with the way they’re playing.

Also, with all the noise about how the players aren’t putting in a strong effort and whatnot, sports analyst Craig Carton believes Giannis Antetokounmpo is more to blame than people say.

Talking on The Carton Show, he called him a ‘Coach Killer,’ stating that everybody seems to love him because of his personality and how he talks in interviews and whatnot, but it’s about time he also has some accountability.

“Giannis is now a coach killer.”

Perhaps the term ‘coach killer’ is a little strong, but he did have plenty to do with both Mike Budenholzer’s and Adrian Griffin’s departure, not to mention the fact that he gave the team the green light to hire Griffin in the first place.

The Bucks fired Budenholzer shortly after Giannis called him out for his lack of adjustments against the Miami Heat, so it’s hard to think it was a coincidence.

Giannis is obviously one of the best players on Earth, and the Bucks will only go as far as he can take him.

He’s always been straight forward about his shortcomings, and he has earned the right to call his teammates out as well.

This time, however, perhaps it’s time the players also start doing their job and proving that they care more than they say.
