Los Angeles Clippers star Paul George has officially opted out of his contract and made himself the top unrestricted free agent available this offseason, and as soon as the free agency period opens, he will surely be getting deep into negotiations with a number of teams around the league.

One analyst believes that only one team makes sense for PG13 given his age and contract desires.

Ashley Nicole Moss of CBS Sports said “If Paul George wants to win as bad as Paul George says he wants to win, the only option that makes sense is the Philadelphia 76ers.”

PG has been linked to the Sixers for a while, and it makes sense given the fact that they are likely the biggest contender with the necessary cap space to bring on a player of George’s caliber.

Philly is finally out of Tobias Harris’ brutal contract and has been rumored to be interested in George for months with the idea of teaming him up with Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey to make a run at a title.

George is 34 years old and has a long injury history, which doesn’t pair well with Embiid who also gets hurt in the playoffs every year.

There is fear that signing George to the contract he wants, which should be in the neighborhood of four years and over $200 million, would be going from one bad contract to another after putting up with Harris for the past six years.

It’s a risky move, but George is looking for that last big contract, and somebody is going to give it to him.
