The NFL’s MVP race has been in full effect for several weeks.

A few names have been dominating the conversation: Dak Prescott and Brock Purdy.

While betting odds might indicate that both players are front-runners for this award, Jalen Hurts’ name was also thrown around in significant conversations.

After seeing his performance in the Philadelphia Eagles’ loss to the Seattle Seahawks, Emmanuel Acho declared that Hurts is now out of the running.

Many analysts believe that Hurts’ turnover tendencies have gotten him in trouble, something Acho seems to subscribe to.

He has thrown the fourth-most interceptions of any quarterback this season, and his recent stretch of fumbles hasn’t helped his team, either.

While Hurts has played like an MVP at times, in Acho’s eyes, he hasn’t played to the level that Prescott and Purdy have.

It will be interesting to see how the rest of the season plays out and if Hurts can improve his game.

It might be too late for him to get back into the MVP conversation, but he can certainly put the Eagles in a more favorable position concerning the playoffs.

While the Eagles have been on a slide in recent weeks, they can still win the NFC East and make a run at a first-round playoff bye.

This team needs to come together and play similarly to how they did heading into the Super Bowl last season.

If they can figure out how to return to that place, the Eagles might be an unstoppable force heading into the postseason.
